Fredrik Carlson will become the new Managing Director for Sweden at Sambla Group and will lead the Swedish operations' continued growth, innovation and commercial development.

Sambla Group strengthens its Swedish management organization by appointing Fredrik Carlson as Managing Director for Sweden. The recruitment is part of the company's long-term strategy to strengthen the local presence and accelerate continued growth in the Swedish market.

Fredrik Carlson will be responsible for leading the Swedish operations with a focus on commercial development, operational excellence and continued innovation. The recruitment is another step in Gather Groups work on building a strong country organization that will create increased value for both customers and partners.

Fredrik Carlson connects to Sambla Group with solid experience from the Nordic region fintech– and the financial sector. Over the past four years, he has held several leadership roles at Yabie, including Managing Director and Chief Revenue Officer. There, he was responsible for sales, marketing and operations while building the company's analytics capabilities.

Prior to his time at Yabie, Fredrik Carlson worked in several analytical and leadership roles at Klarna, where he developed experience in payments, credit cards and digital financial services. He began his career as a management consultant at Capgemini with a focus on digital transformation and business development.

The accumulated experience makes him well equipped to lead Sambla Group's continued expansion in Sweden and develop the company's offering within loans and personal finance services.
