The Swedish Armed Forces are establishing a new national function for defence innovation with the aim of significantly shortening the time from identified operational needs to deployed military capabilities. The initiative is based on experiences from the war in Ukraine and will strengthen cooperation between authorities, industry, academia, NATO and the EU.
