Arctic Wolf Aurora AI cybersecurity combines agentic AI with human expertise in a new security platform and SOC service.
The IT security company Arctic Wolf releasing now Aurora Superintelligence Platform and Aurora Agentic SOC, modern solutions that leverage autonomous, agent-based AI and where trust in the technology rests on human judgment and expertise. The daily work of cybersecurity is now transforming from a traditional, manual management to a highly automated process where AI agents collaborate with specialist teams to enable faster detection, more accurate investigations and more effective countermeasures across the entire attack surface.
With its AI launch, it aims to Arctic Wolf addresses a central challenge for today's IT security professionals: they want to use AI, but are often hindered in practice by complexity and lack of trust in the technology. Reliable and scalable AI platform for cybersecurity
With the new Aurora Superintelligence Platform, Arctic Wolf sets a new standard for how AI can enter the ongoing security work in a reliable and efficient way. The platform is built up of three interacting components: the agent framework Swarm of Experts, the proprietary Security Operations Graph and the AI Trust Engine, which ensures that AI agents always act within established frameworks. With this model, AI agents become the driving force, but collaborate with humans for quality assurance, learning and escalation, so that the solution can deliver reliable and actionable results.
Aurora Superintelligence Platform provides access to a scalable security engine that is built on more than 14 years of operational experience and vast amounts of telemetry data from Arctic Wolf’s global customer base. By combining large amounts of data with AI-powered security capabilities and manual control, it helps reduce AI-related issues such as hallucinations, model drift, and unstable decision-making, which often stand in the way of applying autonomous, agent-based AI in cybersecurity. According to a recent ISC2 survey, only 30 percent of cybersecurity teams today have integrated AI tools into their daily work.
Aurora Agentic SOC – AI-based security monitoring
At the same time as the new Aurora platform launches Arctic Wolf Aurora Agentic SOC, the world's largest commercially available agent-driven SOC service (Security Operations Center). It elevates AI from a tool to an active operator in ongoing security work. The solution includes three types of agents with different tasks: monitoring agents, authoritative agents and process agents. Together, they can handle everything from triage and investigation to response, threat hunting, risk management and automation of routine tasks. The aim is to relieve security managers, reduce manual work and create more efficient operational security that is controlled by people.
Aurora Agentic SOC is a comprehensive solution that is quick to implement and provides significant performance benefits. SOC issues will not increase (on average one a day per customer) but they go 15 times faster to solve. At the same time, quality improves threefold and time to market is faster: a turnkey agent-based SOC can now be deployed in as little as 10 days.
