Nordlo launches a new real-time IT security tool that gives companies a clear and visual picture of their cybersecurity. In an era of increasing cyber threats, NIS2 requirements and tightened regulatory frameworks, transparency and control are becoming crucial for both small and large organizations.
We want to make cybersecurity measurable, understandable and actionable, says Magnus Blomberg, CTO at Nordlo.
Sweden's national cybersecurity strategy for 2025–2029 points to increased threats, stricter requirements and the need for strengthened digital resilience.
“Many companies, especially small and medium-sized ones, have limited resources and capacity to meet increased security requirements and threats. They also lack a clear overview of their actual security level that can be easily understood by the entire organization.
As part of the initiative, Nordlo is also introducing a common minimum level of security, the Security Baseline, for all customers. It is integrated into the company's existing cybersecurity offering and includes basic technical protection, security configurations, policies and employee training.

– Our method for identifying, visualizing and following up on security gaps gives management and boards unique transparency. In an educational interface, the customer can see in real time which parameters are met and receive concrete action suggestions.
The background is an increasingly complex threat landscape, increased regulatory requirements through, among other things, the EU's cybersecurity directive NIS2 and the DORA regulation, as well as a national ambition to increase resilience in both the public and private sectors.
– Cybersecurity is today a strategic management issue. For IT managers, the tool provides a clear basis for justifying investments and demonstrating the effect of implemented measures, says Magnus Blomberg, CTO at Northland.
Security Baseline is being rolled out in Sweden and Norway after pilot implementation, with the goal of full implementation by the end of 2027.
