Sigma Industry Spark, part of Sigma Group, is gearing up in the capital. With its sights set on more customers, more consultants and more fun assignments in software development, the company is now taking the next step in its growth journey – and strengthening the team with Ulrika Wergens as the new section manager.
Sigma Industry Spark is a technology consulting company specializing in system and software development within embedded and IT. In Stockholm, a new offering is now being formed, with everything from pure consulting assignments to team deliveries and packaged services.

“There is a lot of buzz in Stockholm right now, not least in software. With Ulrika on board, we get a leader who combines business acumen and structure with warmth, drive and a clear feeling for people. That is exactly the mix we want to build our team around,” says Mattias Karlsson, CEO of Sigma Industry Spark.
Ulrika Wergens has a long background in the technology and consulting world, including as business area manager, CEO, sales manager and consulting manager. She has studied economics, management and political science at Stockholm University and the University of South Florida. And although she is not an engineer by training, she has spent over 25 years leading technology-related teams.

“I look forward to being part of building something from scratch, with high expectations, team spirit and long-term direction. The combination of entrepreneurial drive, security and a non-prestige culture makes me believe in what we will create together. And the fact that I am a fantasy nerd with a talent for Frisbee, that comes with the deal,” says Ulrika Wergens, newly appointed section manager at Sigma Industry Spark.
Spark is the latest addition to the Sigma Industry family in Stockholm and started in 2024. The team works with consulting assignments in a number of technology-intensive industries, such as manufacturing, automotive, defense, life science, telecom and energy. Now the business is really taking off with a focus on letting both sharp minds and lovely personalities flourish. The first team of consultants is already in place and delivering to customers while welcoming new colleagues into the community.
