AI security architecture is the foundation of this new Architecture Blueprint. IT security company Check Point Software is now launching AI Factory Security Architecture Blueprint. It is a new security architecture developed to secure private AI infrastructure, from hardware to AI models.
AI data center has in a short time become one of the most valuable and most vulnerable parts of businesses' IT environments. For companies building private AI environments, it is often a matter of protecting sensitive data, meeting regulatory requirements, and reducing costs associated with public cloud services. At the same time, the attack surface grows as AI systems combine large data sets, training environments, and real-time services.
Unlike traditional data centers, AI environments present new types of threats. These include manipulation of training data, theft of AI models, attacks where attackers try to trick AI systems through the wording of user questions, and the propagation of attacks between different parts of the system environment. Many of these attacks are difficult to detect with traditional security solutions.
The new architecture is based on a multi-layered protection where security is integrated throughout the infrastructure, from the network edge to applications and container environments. Through close collaboration with NVIDIA Security features are integrated directly into the hardware, enabling advanced protection without impacting performance. At the same time, AI services and language models are protected against manipulation and data leakage.
The architecture is also aligned with new regulatory requirements, including the EU's AI Regulation and GDPR, and is built on the principle that security should be built in from the start, not added later. Every user, system call and service is continuously verified according to a so-called Zero Trust Model.
