Garmin launches today Approach S44 and Approach S50 – two new additions to their popular line of golf smartwatches. They are slim, lightweight, and have all the essential features that golfers are looking for to improve their game. With 1.2” color AMOLED displays, more than 43,000 golf courses With presets and features that help you see obstacles and distances to the middle, front and back of the green, golfers can help lower their handicap. Both smartwatches offer up to 15 hours of battery life in GPS mode – so you can stay out on the course longer.

Approach S50

Approach S50 based on Approach S44 and offers all the basic golf features, including PlaysLike distances. This watch also has a heart rate monitor, giving you full access to health, wellness and training features that help you improve both on and off the course.

Track every shot you take with Approach S44 and S50 smartwatches and the brand new tracking tags⁴Approach CT1. The tags are lightweight and secure and attach to the end of the club handle, where they collect data from every club in your bag – from driver to putter – and record tee shot, distance and club type. Simply place the tag on your watch and record stats that display right on your wrist.

When you are out on the golf course you can use Approach CT1-tags to see how far you typically hit with each club and also see statistics over accuracy to the fairway or green. After a round, you can see strokes earned and other metrics in Garmin Golf app and follow trends to see in which areas you can improve.

Seamless integration

Both of them new golf smartwatches can be seamlessly connected with other devices in Garmin's golf lineup to improve your game on the course.
