Kåre Nordström becomes the new Sweden manager for Orange Cyberdefense

Orange Cyberdefense now announces that Kåre Nordström appointed head of Sweden. Kåre was previously regional manager for Northern Sweden at Orange Cyberdefense. He replaces Leif Gyllenberg, who in March 2022 was appointed CEO for the Nordics at Orange Cyber Defense. Kåre Nordström will continue to drive Orange Cyberdefense's growth in Sweden, and also focus on broadening the company's competence and offering within both technical solutions and strategic security consulting.

The Power of Connectivity

It will be incredibly exciting to take over responsibility for the Swedish operations, where we have doubled the workforce in the last two years, and contribute to continued growth at the same pace and with a high level of competence, says Kåre Nordström, Managing Director, Orange Cyberdefense Sweden. I applied to Orange Cyberdefense because I wanted to work with a company that has clear values, a strong sense of team and a high-performing team, something I am very much looking forward to both strengthening and developing further.

It is with great joy and anticipation that I hand over responsibility for the Swedish operations to Kåre, says Leif Gyllenberg, CEO for the Nordics at Orange Cyberdefense. Kåre has been a strong contributor to the fact that we have now established ourselves throughout the country so that we can support businesses close to them with professional competence. With a rapid development of the threat landscape, increased demands on digital services and a large skills shortage in the security area, it is becoming increasingly important that we can support businesses in a way that contributes to a safer digital society.

Kåre Nordström took up the position on 1 January this year. Orange Cyberdefense currently has 400 employees in Sweden.
