Zoho Corporation introduces Zia LLM and innovative AI tools, marking a new era in contextual AI technology.
Zoho Corporation, a leading technology provider, proudly presents its proprietary large language model Zia LLM, along with more than 25 AI-powered Zia Agents and the code-free Zia Agent Studio. These tools, combined with the innovative Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, provide great opportunities for third-party integration into Zoho's library.

These developments are designed to unleash the full potential of contextual and agent-based AI technology in organizations, positively impacting daily workflows across sectors. With these advancements, Zoho is ensuring significant operational and financial improvements for businesses globally.
“Today’s announcement underscores our commitment to building foundational technology that protects customer data, delivers rich features, and ensures value,” said Sachin Agrawal, CEO of Zoho UK. Developed in-house, Zoho’s AI initiative promises groundbreaking tools without compromising data protection.
Zia LLM, built entirely in-house using NVIDIA’s AI platform, is a testament to Zoho’s innovation. This model includes three versions, each optimized for different use cases: structured data extraction, summarization, RAG, and code synthesis. The models, with parameters of 1.3 billion, 2.6 billion, and 7 billion, are fine-tuned for precise contextual relevance. This Strategic scaling ensures tailored solutions for varying user needs while balancing computational efficiency.
Together with Zia LLM, Zoho is introducing its Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) models that can convert speech to text from English and Hindi. These models outperform the competition by up to 75 %, ensuring accuracy with minimal computational overhead.
While Zoho still includes several LLM integrations – including giants like ChatGPT and Llama – it is strengthening Zia LLM's commitment for user data privacy by securely storing data on Zoho's servers.
Zia LLM is expected to launch in data centers in the US, India, and Europe, and the initial deployment is aimed at Zoho's expansive app suite, with preparations underway for broader customer access.
In the near future, plans Zoho to enhance Zia LLM with parameter extensions, which is expected to happen by the end of 2025. In addition, the addition of new language features, catering to European and Indian dialects, and the launch of a Reasoning Language Model (RLM) are underway.
Complementary features, such as Ask Zia, will be developed with additional skills to assist finance and customer support teams. In addition, the upcoming implementation of Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol to facilitate seamless collaboration between different AI agents.
